Thin, versatile, tough, bendable aluminum sheet
Vintage material  -
peel and heat stick, matte black coated aluminum for making acid or laser etched labels.
Originally developed for military radio gear having an extremely tough matte purplish black almost gun-blued coating, perhaps anodized.
These may be stapled with a good hand stapler, sewn, wire tied, glued, taped, riveted, punched, slit, snipped or sliced.
Very tough, they are not easily torn or clawed apart.
