Vintage Metal & Stone 4 Elephant Double Ink Well w/ Hinged Lid Desktop

Beautiful Vintage Elephant Themed Inkwell
Large hinged lid compartment holds up to 2 inkwells in the center.
The compartment is held up by 4 hollow cast metal elephants
One ink well is missing, but still holds 1 porcelain insert.
The hefty base of the piece is made from stone and has a felt pad underneath.
Stone base measures 7-3/8" x 5-1/2"; Stands about 4" tall.
Condition:
shows some wear with minimal paint loss, the hinged lid can actually be removed from the set by lifting it up (hinge is pronged), please see photos for a close look at condition. There are a few small chips along the edge of the base.
