Vintage Carter’s Ink Company Cube-Well Inkwell Cube Bottle Pen

Vintage Carter’s Ink Company Cube-Well inkwell and ink cube bottle. This bakelite inkwell measures approximately 3&1/2” tall by 3&1/4” deep (at the base) by 2&3/4” wide. The inkwell consists of a base which holds the ink cube bottle and a lid which covers it. Also included are an empty ink cube bottle of Carter’s 816 Midnight Blue-Black and the original inkwell valve cap. No pen is present. The inkwell is in good condition with signs of age and use, primarily surface wear and scratching. One of the rubberized feet is missing from the base; the inkwell still sits level and solidly. The ink cube bottle is in good condition with no chips or cracks; it has a partial paper label. The valve lid easily unscrews; the original bottle lid is not present.
