Very Nice Antique Solid Brass Ink Well, it has 2 hinged reservoirs with what looks like (to me anyway) an ancient Greek mythology Faun Satyr part goat/human head on the top of one of the lids. Very heavy, actual weight is 31 ounces (1lb.-15oz.).
I'm making an assumption that this is from Paris France based on the label applied on the bottom and the woman at the estate I bought it from told me her parents had bought it in Pars as an antique back in 1965. Is that a fact, Not verified, it's an uneducated assumption. If you know anything about it Please fill me in!
The condition is "Used" and there is some chips in the base, please see the photo's for the condition.
