On offer is this lovely collectible antique flask. It's in good condition overall, the pewter metal has notably darkened over the years - extensive shallow dinging / denting however over the cup as well as light scuffs and scratches commensurate with age (please refer to images). The wicker is also in good order however there is a notable color change / discoloration around where the cup covers but as shown all adding to the aged charm and character of the piece.
It's of traditional form, the clear glass body has been fully covered with a wicker jacket which is still all intact and displays ever so well.
Also present is the original pewter cup which still fits as it should however is slightly loose.
The screw-on top functions as it should and retains original cork insert.
Unmarked for a maker, English produced, circa late 19th century.
It measures 8.2cm (3 and 1/4 inches) by 16.5cm (6 and 1/2 inches) by 5cm (2 inches) - all outer measurements - and is ready to be collected and enjoyed once again!
