STUNNING ANTIQUE TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK INKWELL W/ LID & GLASS INSERT, NICE !
Up for sale today is an Original Rare large Tiffany Studios Metal and Glass Inkwell/Inkstand in the Pine-needle Pattern, I do beleive? This particular Inkwell/Inkstand is the largest of the two square styled inkstands that Tiffany produced in this pattern. What is also quite interesting is that it still retains the original ink clear glass cup insert. (please see photo's) This is an early example of this style of Inkstand/Inkwell. She has a lot of patina and finish wear but still so beautiful. The Tiffany milky light blue glass is also interesting and pretty as you can tell from the photo's (no cracks found). The Inkwell/Inkstand is 4 inches in width by 4 inches in depth by 3 1/4 inches tall. It is properly signed Tiffany Studios, New York, # 844. The original glass insert is signed, The Davis, New York, along with pattern numbers and dates. There is a small tiny flea bite out of the edge of the insert. Wonderful old world elegant charm, don't miss this one !!!
