    Description

    Here's a rare 12 ounce Eagle in slug plate clear historical flask listed by McKearin as GII-136. It has a bold emb eagle in slug plate on front..... plain bottom. This scarce flask was blown in the 1880s by Lampton Crane & Ramey Co glass works of Louisville, Ky.
    Hand blown in mold.....smooth base....hand tooled double ring collar....clear....strap sided coffin flask.....7 5/8"tall....it holds 12 oz (I used a measuring cup to check)....Excellent shiny near mint condition with no chips or damage of any kind. A small natural sandpaper texture rough spot on surface of neck from when it was made. A nice clean flask with no haze. Although this flask has no embossing on the bottom, I've had a couple that were embossed LC&R which stands for Lampton Crane & Ramey Glass Co of Louisville. This is a very scarce 12 ounce size flask!
