    Description

    Rare antique inkwell depicting a beautiful cold painted walrus resting on a base that represents a jagged slab of ice.  The molding and painting show the
    exquisite
    details of the face, tusks, paws, fur and flippers.
    The base is brass.  The figural body is made of spelter and is attached to the base with three screws.  The inkwell insert is ceramic and has a small chip in the top edge.
    The base measures 6.5 x 3 inches.
    The walrus stands 3.5 inches high to the top of the head.
    The tusks are 1.25 inches long.
    The condition is very good.
    The inkwell weighs about 1 lb. 13 oz.
