This was a purchase made in London on August  8th, 1992 - see picture of the receipt of purchase denoting the set as French and circa 1860.  As luck would have it, I bought just as the exchange rate for the pound to the US dollar was at the highest rate it had been for some time, so the 0 pounds price was about 6.  I think they see me coming!
The approximate measurements are  5" high x  9.5" wide  x  8"deep.
Condition is commensurate with age (see pictures).
Comes from my smoke- and pet-free home.
