The color is darker in the thicker parts of the glass The flask is in attic quality condition with only a spec or two of light spotty minor hard to see high point wear. The flask dates to the 1820' to 1830'sand we feel it is from a New England glass house. The flask is beautiful and shimmers in sunlight. The mold is crisp and very strong. The flask is crude and whittled and is full of seed bubbles. The lip is excellent being crudely tooled and it has no issues. The base has a crude early pontil scar. The condition is very nice with no chips, cracks scratches, stains or alteration of any kind. The base does have some spotty high point wear The bottle has not been dug nor cleaned. This is a great early survivor in untouched original condition and a great window bottle.
