Description
Here we have a nice early handled chestnut flask from the 1850s. The glass is a medium amber in color and has some nice swirls throughout. A crude applied handle is attached to the shoulder and connects to the lip. The handle is a bit off center giving this flask a bit more character. The base has a nice open pontil scar from the blowing process. This flask stands 8 3/4" tall and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, bruises, open bubbles, etc. Just some minor dust / light dirt accumulation on the interior that should rinse right out. A great flask that looks nice in the light! If anyone has any questions please ask.
