MILITARY INKWELL WWI TANK AND FRENCH HELMET

Description

This inkwell depicts a WWI tank on the edge of a trench and opposite a bunker topped by a French Adrian helmet.  The top of the bunker is the inkwell lid.  There is an artist signature between the tracks behind the tank.  On one side the figure has been modelled in such a way as to create pen rest.
The inkwell insert is clear glass.  The hinge on the inkwell lid is loose but intact.  Under the lid there is "MADE IN FRANCE."
It had been silver plated, however the finish is worn and tarnished.
