    Description

    Elegant black glass inkstand is unsigned; base measures 4.25 inches square; roller ball inkwell measures approximately 2.25 inches in diameter. The lid is tight on this and I have not removed the top of the inkwell, but it looks like there is some residue inside the bottle. The pieces may have some light abrasions from storage, but overall this set looks to be in very good pre-owned condition. The inkstand should date back to around 1950 or before according to a black glass collector’s guide that I have. Some manufacturing defect lines are visible on the underside of the base/stand. Please look closely at the pictures and ask any necessary questions before bidding. Thanks for looking!
