  • Condition: Damaged. Some crazing from age. There are remnants of tape on the bottom.“Playmates” boy with rabbits, #58/0 is damaged. Feather on hat has broken off and crudely repaired with glue. Probably could be unglued and restored. I am not an expert, but other than the glued part, it seems (to me) to be intact. There are signs of wear on underside of base.

    Description

    This appears to be an authentic I.M. Hummel figurine by Goebel.
    “Playmates” Boy with Rabbits #58/0.
    Markings on underside of base indicate when and who manufactured it.
    Has Goebel Stylized Bee in V stamp in blue.
    Marking on bottom indicates it is TMK-3
    I am not an expert.  This information may not be exact.
    I bought this in 1969 in Ansbach Germany at an upscale gift boutique.
    The back edge of the base has the embossed I.M. Hummel signature.
    This figurine is damaged

    Boy has small glued-on feather in his hat.  Perhaps could be unglued and restored.
    There is crazing and signs of use and wear on underside of base.
    The underside of the base has remnants of tape adhesive.

    This item is unfortunately damaged and I am offering it in  “as is” condition.
