Leather Cased Brass 19th Century Traveling Inkwell

Description

Offered is a really nice traveling inkwell produced and used during the 19th Century. The inkwell has a leather case with nice detail which may have been enhanced with painting. The inkwell is 1 1/2 inches tall and measures that on all sides; it has the original ink bottle and the closure works well. The brass surrounding the well is nicely decorated. There is some wear as you'd expect of an item this age.
