Kronheim & Oldenbusch K&O Copper Inkwell Arts & Crafts Period c1920 Glass Insert

Offered is a Kronheim & Oldenbusch (K&O, Brooklyn, NY, 1895 to 1940) solid copper classic Arts & Crafts period inkwell/pen holder with its original clear glass ink insert. The inkwell has a curved area in the front where the ink pen would be placed. The base is marked K&O & Co.
This quality piece, dating to the 1920's, was recently found in a local estate. It appears to have never been polished and has substantial age-related oxidation/tarnish to the original copper finish. The copper could be polished and would no doubt be beautiful or if preferred, left as is with all of its age-related patina. There are no dents or losses to the metal or other notable damage. The hinged lid over the glass insert works properly.
Dimensions: 4 3/4" in length; 3 3/16" in width and ~2 1/4" in height.
