    Description

    This Antique Saleman Sample Inkwell is in fair condition.  The black enamel has scratches and rub marks.  The inside of one inkwell has damage (SEE LAST PHOTO).
    The base measures 6 1/2 inches by 4 1/4 inches and it has two inkwells on it. The base and the inkwells are made of black laquered wood. There are two labels on the top of the base that says Kins-Jen. There is a label on the bottom that tells about the inkwell and also has an ad for sales agents on the bottom and on the very bottom of the label it says Dr. W.W. Jenkins, Olyphant, Pa..  Dr. Jenkins was also an author and poet and this listings comes with a framed poem that is signed W.W. Jenkins and is dated July 15, 1893.
    NOTE:  I have been downsizing my collection for several years and only have a few of my favorites left.
    I have researched the internet for many years and have never found another Kins-Jen Inkwell.  I did find this Inkwell on Worthpoint which is the inkwell I bought on EBay.  I am hoping someone has more information than me.
