Here's a scarce antique glass inkwell with heavy pewter top that went in a child's wood school desk in the early 1900 era....

also emb on top of pewter top.....thick heavy glass inkwell is 1 1/2"tall x 1 1/2"across base....it has a shoulder ring and threaded collar....original heavy pewter top has a hinged flap which can be opened to allow access to the inkwell....Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean inkwell with no haze. This is a hard to find inkwell..
