  • Condition: There is a small shallow flake chip on the edge of the base and a very thin hairline on the lip as shown in the photos, the hairline is hard to notice and may not even be a hairline, it could be an imperfection in the mold. There is a lot of stain and haze inside the bottle and light surface scratches throughout the outside of the bottle. Overall it is in decent condition with nice crisp embossing and still stands as a rare local bottle.

    Up for sale is an Antique Strapside Whiskey Flask Local to Washington D.C. Circa 1880s-1890s.
    The bottle is half pint in size with a strapside form and comes in a gorgeous aqua color with a blown in mold construction. There is an embossed slug plate that reads "HENRY MURRAY / 1519 / SEVENTH ST. N.W. / WASHINGTON D.C.
