Rare Grueby Pottery Matte Green Glaze Inkwell w/ Sterling Silver Top!
This wonderful art pottery inkwell has a nice form with subtle ribs above the shoulder and is finished in a rich matte green glaze. It has a original hand pinned silver top with matching ribs and the monogrammed initials R.R. It is impressed Grueby on the bottom, along with Boston, Mass and is marked Sterling along the side of the top. It dates from the early 20th Century and measures approximately 4 + ½ inches tall by 5 + ½ inches across at its widest. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
