Description

The silver inkstand has a pierced gallery with beaded rim that encircles the back of the sand and it has a gadroon design around the front of the recessed pen slot.
6 oz. of sterling silver in weight.
The inkstand sits of three nicely decorated wide feet.
This is an incomplete inkstand.
Missing the
pierced/reticulated band that holds the inkwell in place as well as
the glass inkwell. Inkstand is marked with the Gorham trademark stamp used from 1875-1900.
