GESCH, ART DECO INKWELL

Description

A Gesch Art Deco era Brass and Glass Inkwell. Could be brass plated over copper Well used, in very good condition.
The brass base is stamped from what appears to be a 20 or 22 gauge plate. The inside of the lid of the inkwell as patina consistent with copper. The back of the lid hinge is stamped "GESCH".
Overall the inkwell is in very good condition for it's use and age. What looks like dents in some of the pictures is actually patina on the brass. There is some ink drops stains. Minor surface scratches on the glass consistent with wiping.
