wonderful enameled French Champleve Inkwell
believe to be from the late 19th Century
believe to be brass - non-metallic
hinged lid & sits on 4 feet
turquoise ground w/ navy blue edge & white, yellow & pink floral design
measures about 5 1/4" by 4"at the base, & about 2 3/4" high

Very good aged condition. Slightest loss to enamel. Inkwell loose on base - has to be tightened.
