    Here's a fairly scarce Pikes Peak historical flask that is grouped by McKearin as GXI-41, which is called the "blockhead" flask because it has a bold peened out square above the prospector's head.....

    boldly emb above prospector about to walk off the edge of skinny oval underneath his feet..... Eagle with arrows & banner bold emb on back above a large blank oval... Hand blown in mold, bimal.....early half circle hinge mold base.....crude applied collar....aqua....pint....7 1/2"tall.....Sparkling shiny attic mint condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean flask with no haze. This is a fantastic super nice example with bold crisp embossing... This is a hard to find flask blown in the 1860s
