    Description

    One of four known.
This bottle is referenced in "American Glass" McKearin, plate 238 #4 and
"American Bottles & Flasks and Their Ancestry" M/W plate 122 #4.
6 1/4" tall, three mold, sheared lip, swirled to the left & pontiled. ca 1825 - 1835.
Blown from a GI-3 cologne bottle mold. Probably Boston & Sandwich.
No damage. There are a couple pot stones (no legs), some bubbles (none open) & some light stain in the bottom 1".
    Apple yellowish/greenish.
Could be considered a Chestnut Flask, Pattern Molded Flask or Whimsey.
This is one of those rare moments that I actually use the word "rare".
    Not much into hype.
    Take care.
