Estate Fresh Antique Cold Painted Bronze Whimsical Crocodile/Alligator Inkwell

I would like to present the most whimsical seated gentleman crocodile cold painted bronze inkwell. He exudes personality, full of movement and character!  Fresh from the estate of a discerning collector and designer, he appears to be quite rare, and a gem of a find!  Believed to be a Vienna Bronze, every detail is fun and fanciful, from the top hat atop his head with a banded blue and gold patterned scarf billowing down his back, to his glowing golden eyes. The book he holds open features a fellow croc underneath a stand of palms and partially legible crocodile text, all resting on his strong majestic tail. The tidy strapped and buckled pouch at his waist holds an unknown treasure, and as a fine gentleman does, he rests casually upon his unfurled red umbrella. Almost unnoticeable, he has become separated from the crook of his umbrella handle, it does not detract from his presence or style. He hinges at the nape of his neck and retains the deep reds in his mouth, in his neck scarf, and his umbrella. His big bold body is richly green, all you would expect to see in such a fine croc gent. This is a fabulous addition to any collection or a stunning stand alone piece of sculptural artistry. He weighs 2.3 pounds and is about 5"x5" tall and across. He has his original brass ink ring, but has seemed to have lost his original glass, probably in one of his many adventures. Please use photos for further description. Any questions please ask.
