English brass mounted parcel ebonized standish desk writing compendium, late 19th century, the bronze handle with serpent motifs flanked by a pair of glass ink pots, two dished pen/pencil trays, one drawer, with scrolling brass mounts throughout and raised on bun feet. 5" H x 10.5" W x 6.5" D. Provenance: From the estate of American film producer Martin Bregman (Scarface, Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon). Sourced from his Park Avenue apartment decorated by Sister Parish and Albert Hadley.
The photos were before I washed the glass inkwells, so they are shining much brighter now.
