    EAGLE CLASPED HANDS FLASK-Pint-Union-Old Rye-Pittsburgh-A & D H C
    Offered is a selection consisting of one vintage Historic Flask dating from around 1860-1870.The bottle is Hand Blown In Mold manufacture style with an applied Cork top finish(BIM).The lot includes:
    1)—A 7 5/8" tall,crisp aqua color 1860s flask,one side having heavy embossment of 13 stars,"UNION", a pair of clasped hands in a shield, and "Old Rye" in an oval. Other side features an eagle on a shield, banner in mouth embossed "A.& D.H.C.", with "Pittsburgh" embossed in a pointed area. Smooth base. The applied lip has a 1/4" chip on the eagle side, some light high point wear on hands and glass house name.. Not sure of the McKearin-Wilson number, can't locate my book.
