Antique Inkwell - The Spotless Inkstand - Patented Nov 29 1898

Description

A rare complete antique inkwell by The Universal Specialty Co., Pike Station, N.H.  The lid is embossed "THE SPOTLESS INKSTAND - PATENTED NOV 29 1898."  The glass jar is square with notched corner edges and measures about 2-1/4 inches wide.  The piece also stands slightly over 2-1/4 inches tall when assembled. The lid is approximately 1-3/4 inches in diameter.  The special glass insert is intact and the piece can be disassembled for cleaning if used.  Please review all of the pictures and reach out with questions.
