    Description

    For your consideration I am pleased to offer this fantastic early, 20 rib swirled globular flask. This is believed to be of Midwestern production, and is a wonderful amber in color. It stands approximately 7" tall, and is approximately 5 1/2" across at its widest point. It has a flared top lip with an approximate 1" opening, and there is a rough pontil present on the bottom. This bottle is in fair condition, with a few larger bubbles, and "seeds" present within the glass. Of particular concern, is one area with a large "seed" present which has three hairlines extending from it (please see photos #7, 8, and 9 for example). However, I have owned this flask for close to 25 years, and this damage has not progressed, so I do feel it is secure. This is a great piece, and will be a welcomed addition to any collection!
