    Description:
    This is a pretty piece with two inkwells that I use on the desk to hold stamps.
    The piece is a cast brass with two covered ink wells that has brass inserts.
    Measures 9.5” wide, 5” deep and 3.25” high.
    There are marks on the bottom but I cannot read it well. It appears to be a series of just numbers.

    The inkwell covers are on a hinge. The hinge on the right is slightly loose but operates fine.
    There are dark blotches of old ink on the outside as well as inside of the wells. They would likely improve with polishing, but I didn't want to disturb the patina to get to it.
