    Pleased to offer this rare and unique Antique Ladies 19c Quimper Maison Porquier Porcelain Pewter Inkwell Box Floral w Bird Signed AP. The Gold AP hallmark of Adolphe and Arthur Porquier 1875-1903 predates the Porquier-Beau hallmark.This lovely porcelain box has no chips and the paint is in very good antique condition with slight wear for this age.The inserts are missing, as is often the case with wells of this age. Please look at the photos from every closeup angle.4.5 L x 3.25 W x 2.5 HPorquier FactorySometime around 1772, the Eloury brothers, Andre and François, former employees at the Grande Maison, left to found their own pottery in Ergué-Armel, today part of Quimper, but at that time a  separate  community. It would move to Quimper proper in 1779.Thank you for viewing this lovely French offering of yesteryear. Condition is "Used".
