    Description

    Antique, 1890’s double inkwell in MINT condition, created by renowned French artist, A. Bossy. This beautiful French Art Nouveau desk inkwell measures 16”in length, 9” in width and 12” in height. Signed by the artist, it depicts a majestic stag with large antlers, standing in splendor. Inkwell lids open and shut, hinges are in perfect condition. I believe this is bronze but with the rich patinated finish of 130 years, it is hard to make a determination. Some of his inkwells were created in pewter, but I do not believe this one is. The inkwell stand has 3 feet in the front and one in the back. Quite a heavy substantial piece- weighing almost 10 lbs. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
