1993 Pleasant Company Addy Walker 18" Doll in First Edition Meet Outfit with complete Meet Accessories and 1st Edition Paperback "Meet Addy" book & bookmark!
History:
Addy Walker is the fifth Historical doll and was released in the Fall of 1993.
Includes:
1) 18" authentic, 1993 First Year Release Addy Walker doll with Pleasant Company stamped head mold.  Pleasant Company and "148/16" imprinted on back of neck.
2) FIRST EDITION Meet Outfit, including:
- Cinnamon pink striped dress tagged 1986 Pleasant Company;
black stockings;
white ?drawers? with lace eyelet trim tagged 1986 Pleasant Company;
black work boots.
*The only thing missing from her Meet Outfit is her Blue Satin Hair Ribbon, which is not included*
3) COMPLETE FIRST EDITION MEET ACCESSORIES, including:
Straw hat with a blue calico print ribbon tagged Pleasant Company 1993;
Kerchief;
EARLY VERSION WATER GOURD (this is an actual gourd - not the plastic versions that were later produced);
Half-dime;
Cowrie Shell Necklace.
4) First Edition Paperback "Meet Addy."  Copyright 1993 by Pleasant Company Incorporated.
5) "Addy An American Girl 1864" Bookmark.  Copyright Pleasant Company 1993.

This Addy doll is in AMAZING, absolutely beautiful, vintage condition!  Her limbs are tight, her eyes open and shut easily and show no signs of silvering!  Her hair and braids are mainly intact!  Her body is clean and free from any flaws!
This is a very rare find, as the doll was retired and the accessories and outfit changed several times. This is the original first edition, cloth body, Pleasant Company production of the Addy doll with complete Meet Accessories, including the VERY HARD TO FIND water gourd made of an actual gourd!
