    Description

    This is an 1890s advertising celluloid button for Tess and Ted School Shoes made at Star Brand shoe factories by Roberts, Johnson, and Rand Shoe Company of St. Louis, Missouri.  The button is 7/8" in diameter and is in good condition with no damage or repairs.  On the front, it shows a man and a woman and reads, "Tess and Ted School Shoes".  The back has a good working pinback plus has the original paper insert.  The insert reads, "Tess and Ted School Shoes Are Made In The Twelve Big Star Brand Shoe Factories By Roberts, Johnson, and Rand Shoe Company St. Louis".  A good piece to add to a collection.
