1890s MILKGLASS KLONDYKE GOLD NUGGET FIGURAL WHISKEY FLASK W/ORIGINAL SILVER CAP

An original famous Klondyke gold nugget figural whiskey flask from the late 1890s ....complete with original nickel plated lid.....no embossing but it has a blank circular label panel on front.....Hand blown in mold....ground threaded lip....opaque white milkglass....5 3/4"tall (6 1/2"with lid).....Excellent shiny mint condition with no chips or damage. A shiny clean bottle with no haze or stain. This interesting figural gold nugget flask was produced to take advantage of the big gold rush to the Klondike region of Alaska between 1896-1899. They were purchased by saloons and hotels who put their own circular paper label on the front to promote their saloon or business.  These were usually given away as Christmas and birthday presents to favorite customers.
