1800s Amethyst 1/2 Pint Whiskey Flask Strap Side Union Oval Bottle Embossed Dug

Description

This is an antique, mid to late 1800s amethyst whiskey flask.  The Strap side Union Oval whiskey bottle is embossed "Registered - Full 1/2 Pint" along with a circle beneath.  My father, an avid bottle hunter, found this flask more than 40 years ago in the ruins of an old plantation in Virginia.  The vintage, cork topped bottle (cork is missing) has a light purple hue and many age related air bubbles in the glass.  The old liquor bottle is in great shape, free from breaks or cracks.  It measures about 6.5" x 3" x 1.5".
